Smell Like A Babe: Missguided Fragrance Review

As you would have seen, I recently tried out a Missguided beauty set, if you haven’t read that yet you can check it out here, so I thought I’d also try out their fragrance collection and I actually loved it even more than their beauty set! Their fragrances are packaged in bottles made to look like cans, which is so fun; they’re so cute that I would even consider displaying the rose gold one in my bedroom, it’s so aesthetically pleasing. Plus, you feel that little bit cooler when you whip a snazzy perfume bottle out of your bag to spritz yourself with, it’s so much more exciting than a regular bottle and immediately makes a scent so much better.

I tried out two of their fragrances, Babe Power and Babe Oud, and reviewed them both for you. They’re rather different fragrances, but I really like both of them. Both of them are incredibly strong and long lasting, two things I look for from a scent, and would definitely be one to last all day on your skin.

BABE POWER

This sweet fragrance has a base of vanilla with hints of musk and candy floss throughout it. Citrus, fruit and floral aromas add a touch of spice to the scent, making it perfect for a lighter, girly perfume for winter and spring. These fun scents add a girly, youthful twist, which makes it a lot more fun and less mature than an incredibly musky, rich scent. This is a lighter fragrance than Babe Oud but could be worn for both day and night as it is long lasting and sensual, perfect for anyone who isn’t a rich scent lover.

BABE OUD

Babe Oud is a much deeper and richer scent, think men’s aftershave with a feminine twist, and is incredibly long lasting. This is the sort of perfume that you’d spritz on in the morning, making you the centre of attention in the classroom or office, and then would still add a sultry scent as you head out on the night. This too includes citrus scents but mixes them with warmer scents such as baies rose, oud and black pepper; these richer tones make it a perfect winter perfume as it is strong, rich and sexy. This is definitely one for all of you who love a really strong, deep perfume.
