Dressing Like a Princess

Dress – & Other Stories // Shoes – Boohoo (limited sizes remaining) // Earrings – Old, similar lower price option here, and more luxe option here

If you’ve read my latest post you’ll know that I’m currently lusting after half of & Other Stories’ collection, and this dress definitely has to be my favourite piece. I wanted this the moment I saw it on the website, but at £85 I kept umming and awwing over it, until it unfortunately went out of stock. After a whole host of regret and searching Depop to no avail, I thought that I’d have to give up. That was until I saw Sally feature this dress in a post, and I discovered that I could still shop it via ASOS, at half price too, and I’ve never clicked ‘add to basket’ quicker!

The dramatic puffed sleeves and luxurious jacquard material makes this dress ever so classy, and I feel that it truly reflects my taste. I’ve got a post coming later in the week all about the grand millennial aesthetic, and this dress is the perfect example; the decadent style and touch of vintage glamour fits the grand millennial look ever so perfectly, and I love it.

A pastel coloured, classic and feminine dress is a must for my spring and summer wardrobe, and what’s better than one that’s sustainably made, luxurious and even has pockets?

Puffed sleeves are such a romantic detail, and I love the overly dramatic sleeves on this piece. I get major Giselle from Enchanted vibes every time I put this on, and it makes me want to frolic through a forest full of baby animals, or be dancing around a castle. I’ve picked out a few pieces below that feature similar dramatic sleeves, so you too can feel like a princess in your everyday life. Simply click on the photo to shop!
