& Other Stories is in no way a new brand, but it’s definitely one that I’ve only just started shopping at. Up until the past few months I was very much a fast-fashion obsessed bargain hunter, and although that bargain finding queen part of me hasn’t left just yet, my approach to fashion, and what I buy, has changed a lot. I’m beginning to see the allure of investing in pieces that you will wear time and time again for seasons to come, instead of having to replace your wardrobe each year, and & Other Stories seemed like a great place to start. I actually first heard of them a few years ago now from my textiles teacher at school (I’m sorry I didn’t listen earlier Miss!), but I’m looking forward to them becoming one of my go-to stores.

I’m never one to turn down a feminine sheer piece, and I’m in love with this gorgeous mint green belted top. The sheer material will keep you cool, even with the long sleeves, and this would be a great choice for summer nights, where you want a little more coverage without over-heating. The belted detail is a great way to cinch in your waist, and define your figure, especially if you pair the top with a more voluminous pair of trousers, like the flared ones I’ve linked down below.

A white dress is a staple in any feminine wardrobe, see my top white dress choices here, and this one is so classic. The cuffed sleeves and collar give this dress such a vintage touch, and this would pair so nicely with classic shoes and rattan accessories. This beige frill detail dress is such a staple piece, and would work so well in transitional months. This dress screams Parisian chic to me, I could just see myself strolling besides the Seine, looking through les bouqinistes wearing this.
