A Chocolate Treat

Sweater – Primark // Skirt – Primark (alternatives here and here) // Tights – Primark // Boots – New Look // Coat – H&M // Gloves – Primark // Hat – Primark

If you’re anything like me then Christmas is now well and truly on your mind. Once Halloween is over, as far as I’m concerned, the festive season begins. So, as I currently have Christmas on the brain, I am also obviously thinking of chocolate; a box of Quality Street under the tree or a treat from the Advent Calendar each morning, Christmas is full of chocolate, and it’s actually what inspired this look.

As you all know, neutrals are my thing, so when I saw this chocolate brown mini skirt in Primark I immediately began dreaming of all the gorgeous nude toned looks I could create. I actually wore this look on Halloween (in the day time of course!), so you could also say that this is my contribution to trick or treating.

I paired it with very light nude or white pieces, to stay true to my personal style, and I feel like it lightened up the very dark skirt and made it wearable in my feminine, light-coloured outfits. The white boots, that I have worn to death over the past few weeks, made an appearance yet again in this outfit, and I love how they look with light tights; which I am planning to include in more outfits over the coming months. Another piece in this outfit that I just can’t stop wearing is my cream fur jacket, also see it styled up here. It’s such a bargain at only £34.99 and I am amazed by the quality, and how warm it keeps me; it’s a definite staple for my girly winter wardrobe.

Sweet like chocolate…
