The temperature has dropped over the past few days and autumn has most definitely arrived. As autumn begins one of my most worn wardrobe staples also makes its return: my camel coat. If I was ever to invest in a high end coat a camel coat would definitely be my top choice; it is by far my most worn winter coat and it pairs so beautifully with my go-to autumnal and winter colour palettes.

I’ve had my camel coat, which is from New Look, for a good few years now, but they are a stylish piece that reappears in shops year after year, meaning that it’s never a bad time to purchase one. The neutral colour and classic shape makes this coat style a perfect choice for a multitude of different styles; it can be styled with a skirt or dress for a feminine, classic look or draped over a suit for a workwear outfit. More often than not I wear mine with one of my go-to autumnal outfits, tights and Chelsea boots, just like I am here.

Coloured tights, or ‘crayon legs’ as the trend is being called, are making a comeback this season and this burgundy pair are a great way to include the trend in your autumnal wardrobe. I picked up this pair of Primark a couple of years ago, but they have similar styles in each year. Plus, they are also very thick and comfy to keep you warm on colder days!

Gorgeous camel coats…
