Top Picks Of The New Oh K! Products

Cleansing Bubble Pads // Drying Pink Blemish Powder // Soothing Face Lotion // Clear Cover Blemish Patches // Pore Refining Nose Strips

As many of you know Oh K! is one of my favourite skincare brands, and as I’m so lucky to work with them on different posts (like many of my Face Mask Friday posts), they very kindly sent over some of their latest releases. Prior to this they focused solely on face masks, and with how great they are, I was so excited to try out some of their different products. From a blemish-fighting drying solution to cleansing pads there is a whole host of new products to add to your skincare routine. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been doing just that with a few of the core items; I’ve started using the Soothing Face Lotion as a refreshing light moisturiser in the mornings and the Drying Pink Blemish Powder has become a go-to product to fight breakouts.

The Soothing Face Lotion, although quite light, works great as a surge of moisture before adding primer, and this would be a great product for those with oily skin as it leaves your skin feeling hydrated, without being too smothered in product. Another thing I love about the Oh K! products is that they have a staple scent, which is equal parts soothing and unoffensive. It hits you as you open the product but very quickly disappears on the skin, making it a refreshing application and a comfortable wear.

Another product that has quickly become a staple in my routine is the Drying Pink Blemish Powder. It works in the same way as the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, but for a fraction of the price, and works to dry out blemishes before they get out of control. At night, if I notice that my skin is beginning to flare up, I will dot a little of this on each spot and breakout with a little cotton bud – a little goes a long way! By the morning the spot is visibly reduced and isn’t as red or inflamed, and it worked fabulously from the first use.

The final product that really stood out to me from the collection was the Cleansing Bubble Pads, which are perfect for bringing on travels, or even using at home, as a more effective option than regular cotton pads. By simply adding water they bubble up and cleanse your face, whilst wiping away any residue of makeup. They’re easy to use, as they simply slip on to your fingers, and my only complaint is that they’re not reusable – so not great for the environment.

I can’t wait to test out the rest of the products over the coming months, I’ll update you all on my story with what I think.

All of the products mentioned are now available to buy at Superdrug.
