Jewellery Inspired By Nature

Forget-Me-Not Earrings // Autumn Leaves Earrings // Poppy Earrings // Poppy Brooch

The world around us is absolutely beautiful; from delicate flowers to vibrant autumn leaves, the world is decorated in so many beautiful creations and Acdria really draw on this to create stunning jewellery. I wouldn’t usually go for such vibrant, decorative jewellery, but I’m in love with the delicate floral designs that this brand has created and I really wanted to share this brand with you all.

I’ve always loved forget-me-nots, so when I saw that there was a whole forget-me-not range I couldn’t resist picking out a pair of earrings. Forget-me-nots are so small and delicate that they are often overlooked, which makes them even more beautiful to me, and makes me like them even more. They’re one of my favourite flowers and these earrings are such a good replication of the actual flowers that they’d make such a great gift for anyone who loves forget-me-nots, or as an extra gift alongside a bouquet of flowers. I love the subtle yellow gemstones in the centre of these studs, and when they catch the light they sparkle a little, which makes the earrings even more beautiful.

Autumnal leaves are one of the most beautiful things about this time of year; there’s something so amazing about watching the world turn into a haze of red and orange hues, and you can now harness that beauty and wear it as a pair of earrings. The sheer amount of detail in these earrings definitely makes them worth the money, as you can even see the veins of the leaves and the muted auburn colour is a perfect blend of all the different colours of autumn leaves. These look great paired with very warm toned autumnal outfits, which I reach for all throughout the autumn months, making them very versatile for this time of the year; plus you can wear them year after year.

Two of the pieces that I got the most wear out of from my Acdria haul were from the poppy selection. I wore the poppy earrings and poppy brooch on Remembrance Sunday this year, and I got so many questions and compliments about them, as they are a very beautiful twist on the traditional paper poppy. Obviously, as Acdria has no affiliation with Royal British Legion, I also donated money and bought a paper poppy so that my money still went to support our hard working soldiers, but I opted to wear these two poppy pieces as a sign of my respect. They are so well made and looked stunning on every item of clothing that I wore over the weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday, and also looked very smart alongside my Guides uniform at Remembrance Sunday Parade.

All of Acdria’s jewellery is handmade in the UK, so if you’re looking for a smaller, lesser known brand to buy jewellery from this Christmas, then Acdria could be just what you’re looking for.
