Inspiration for the Week: Vol. 6

I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed and uninspired recently; with January feeling like it flew by without anything of note, I’m definitely in need of some inspiration to keep me going this week. This collection of images definitely have a summery feel to them, which is very much needed by this point in winter. As someone who is much more of a fan of spring days, full of blooming flowers and warmer nights, I can’t wait to be done with long, dark days, and these images give me just enough positivity to keep going.

Dreaming of running away to a French chateau in sleepy Provence, surrounded by fields of lavender and walking distance from azure blue waters, is enough daydream fuel for the next seven days.

Vintage luggage is something that has inspired me this past week as I purchased this vintage inspired IT luggage set, now all I need is a film camera slung round my neck, crisp linen hotel sheets and a European city to explore.

Cohesive and detailed stationary sets are one of my many loves, and this stunning wedding invitation design took my breath away. Designing my own set of personal letter writing paper is on my bucket list for 2022.

Jean Shrimpton is a classic muse and offers endless inspiration, and this photo posted by @MerritheLabel ignited a burst of summer-fueled inspiration in me.

As a lingerie designer myself, this spoke to me both in a design sense and an aesthetic sense. Lying in pretty lingerie in sun-dappled light sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
