One major benefit of holidaying within the UK and going on staycations is the lack of liquid restrictions that would be in place if you were flying. I will often fly with just hand luggage when going on holiday, especially if I’m away for under a week, which means I often have to buy travel sized minis and leave some of my favourite products at home. However, with Covid restrictions still in place I feel so much more comfortable staying within Britain this summer, which means that I’m free to bring all of my favourite full-sized products with me. Two products that I couldn’t live without this summer are from my trusty favourite, ARK Skincare.
The Hydrating Beauty Mist, which also comes in a travel size if you are venturing outside of the UK this summer, has been in my bag every day since the heatwave a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn’t have survived without it when I was in 27°c of heat. I spray it on my face whenever I feel myself getting overheated, and it immediately helps cool me down, and it’s got such a calming, fresh scent too. If you’re anything like me, and tend to get quite stressed out when you overheat, this spray is a lovely little burst of self care, helping to calm and cool.
The other product that I made sure to bring away with me for a week away in Wales with my family was the Hydration Injection Masque, which deeply nourishes and hydrates. I have combination skin with some very dry areas, and this product is a godsend. Both me and my sister, who also suffers with incredibly dry, eczema prone skin, love this product, so we had to bring it away with us for a sweet holiday pamper night. This product is made for a variety of ages, with the way you use it differing across ARK’s different age groups; as a twenty-something I only leave it on for five minutes, but if you’re a little older, or after deep moisturisation, you can leave it on overnight.
