H&M is one of my go-to high-street stores, especially in spring and summer, and they’ve got so many gorgeous pieces in at the moment. I spent the first part of lockdown staying away from online shopping, as I felt uncomfortable shopping when people were working in potentially dangerous warehouses, but as we gradually move out of lockdown I finally feel confident shopping again, and H&M was one of the first places I looked. A midi skirt is possibly my favourite style of skirt; no matter how they’re styled up, they always look effortlessly classy, and the length is so flattering, even on shorter people. The muted floral print of this skirt is so dreamy, and perfect for the transitional time between spring and summer. The pastels scream spring, but the touches of yellow and orange make you think of warm summer evenings spent on the beach, which is just the perfect combination for this time of year. Smocked jumpsuits are my go-to in summer if I’m looking for an easy, comfortable outfit. Tailored shorts are a staple in my summer wardrobe, as I feel they make me feel so much more put together than denim shorts, and they’re actually just as comfortable!
