A Chic Black Look In Paris

Top – Nasty Gal (sold out, similar here) // Jeans – I Saw It First // Blazer – vintage from my mama (similar here) // Shoes – SheIn // Bag – Primark

I rarely feature monochrome looks here on chloececiliagoescouture, so when I do it’s because it’s one I’ve truly fallen in love with. When exploring the French capital I knew I wanted an outfit that screamed Parisian chic; something effortlessly classy, monochrome and comfortable to walk around in all day, and this was perfect.

I wore this outfit to explore Montmartre, which is where I found La Maison Rose, a gorgeous pink restaurant hidden gem, and couldn’t resist snapping some photos; I almost wish I’d worn one of my signature pink outfits! Montmartre is possibly my favourite part of Paris, I love the romantic, provincial feel, and it’s definitely a place I recommend visiting if you’re searching for a quieter, more village-esque feel in the centre of Paris. We got lunch at a darling little restaurant called Au Clairon des Chasseurs, I had a delicious traditional French onion soup, and I definitely suggest stopping there for a yummy, authentic spot of food.

This top is one of the most romantic pieces in my wardrobe, there’s something just so whimsical about organza, and I’ve found some gorgeous organza pieces that I’ve linked below. I particularly love this beautiful blue top, and at only £12.99 it is an absolute bargain! It would look gorgeous styled up in the springtime with this porcelain print skirt and white espadrilles.

Monochrome is such a classy option, and this outfit has made me want to try some other black and white outfits. This black blazer, a vintage piece gifted to me by my mom from her own wardrobe in the 80s, can be styled up in so many versatile ways, and I can’t wait to experiment with pairing this with spring dresses and some more dressed up outfits. I think it looks so good styled with denim for a classy casual look, and the addition of the pearls on the shoes and the jewellery adds a little touch of glamour to a rather dressed down outfit. As black and white is currently my style crush I’ve linked some other chic monochrome pieces on my wishlist below.
