How To Subtly Add Pink To Winter Outfits

If you hadn’t worked out by now, pink is my favourite colour. Not only is it my favourite colour for decor and aesthetics, it is also my favourite colour to wear, so there’s no way I’m letting winter stop me from styling up pretty pink looks. I recently posted about all of the staple pieces you need for a classic winter wardrobe, and it’s no surprise that a lot of those pieces were in different hues of pink. From pink knitwear, to pink tights, I am going to share with you today how I style up pink in a wearable way throughout the winter time.

At times, outfits that are entirely pink can look inappropriate during winter, and it may be more suitable to subtly add pink within darker, or monochrome, outfits, like the one pictured. To mix this up, and inject a little personal style, I opted for a beautiful zebra print coat, which is unfortunately sold out but I’ve found a similar alternative here, and I truly think this coat made this look. The combination of the statement coat and the pop of pink, along with the bow in my hair, keeps the outfit youthful and feminine, whilst also looking weather appropriate.

This puff sleeve pink top is one of my go-to pieces for this time of year; the puff sleeve is such a romantic detail, and it is an easy way to incorporate a classic, whimsical feature into a day to day outfit. In the past I have also styled it up with denim skirts and pleated midi skirts for casual looks, and it is definitely a staple in my wardrobe.

My top tip for styling up pink in a subtle, wearable way is to choice one statement piece and then create a neutral, or monochrome, outfit around it. For instance, if you opt for a pink chunky knit jumper, you could pair it with a denim skirt, tights and Chelsea boots, but keep the jumper as the sole pink piece. Alternatively, you could add other subtle touches of pink to the outfit, such as a pink handbag or jewellery, I’ve linked some of my favourite options below, to tie the whole look together.

Perfect pink pieces…
