For me, scent is a very important thing. Smelling one simple hint of a fragrance is enough to transport me back to a great memory or remind me of a loved one, so when it comes to taking perfume on trips it’s an important choice. I always bring a new travel sized perfume with me on holiday, especially if it’s a very important or exciting trip, so that years down the line, when I smell that specific smell I’ll be brought back to that trip, and all the amazing memories I made.
My dressing table is full of different perfumes and fragrances; all of which make me think of a different time or place. I probably didn’t need anymore perfume, but with travel sized perfumes I don’t feel so bad! They don’t take up much space, you can just throw them in your bag, and they’re also small enough to be carried in your hand luggage if you have any trips planned.
New Look had so many fabulous travel sized perfumes on offer, I had such a hard time just choosing one. I was particularly stuck between Dusk and Blush, the one I eventually decided on, as they both smelt so soft and floral, which is perfect for spring. Blush has a musky, yet floral, scent, which is my perfect combination for a very subtle, feminine fragrance, especially in spring and summer.
The staying power of this perfume wasn’t astounding, but I only found myself topping it up once or twice throughout the day, so it wasn’t absolutely dreadful. I’d definitely recommend this fragrance to pop in your bag throughout spring to add a delicate scent.
