Outfit Diaries – A Parisian Inspired Outfit For A Trip To London

I’d never visited London during the Christmas period before, so when I got the chance to go down for the day with college I was more than happy. I shot this look in Piccadilly, just outside The Royal Academy where the street is adorned in gorgeous Christmas lights.

This balloon sleeve jumper from Romwe is quickly becoming one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. The bow detail at the front and the chic cropped sleeves make it feel oh so Parisienne, and I feel awfully stylish when I wear it. The 3/4 length sleeve detail also makes it great for me to wear it at college where I’m often drawing and painting, so I don’t need excess material around my wrists.

I paired the gorgeous jumper with my go-to button up denim skirt from H&M; I’ve had this skirt for about three years and I never run out of things to style it up with. It makes the outfit so much lighter than if I were to pair it with a black skirt and I love the addition of the faded copper buttons. I’ve linked a very similar alternative below for you to shop, which is from New Look.

Light tights may not technically be in fashion but, nevertheless, I love to wear them throughout the winter period. This pair is from Primark and has cute cable knitted details all the way up them; this looks so cosy and wintery, and it adds a perfect winter touch to the outfit. On my feet I wore my classic nude boots, which I picked up earlier this year; they’re comfortable enough to walk round in all day and they also have a cute little bow detail at the back of the heel, just like the Stuart Weitzmann ones!
