Face Mask Friday is back for 2019 and I’m kicking it off with a face mask that basically sums up how I’m planning my year to turn out; living like a princess. Disney is one of my favourite things in the world and I love that you can pick up Disney face masks for just £3 at Primark.

I really like sheet masks so I had high hopes for this face mask, but it actually quite confused me. The pattern on the mask, Aurora’s face, was quite confusing to align on my face and the fact that there were flaps on the mask made to cover your eyes and mouth left me rather perplexed. I ended up folding the eye flaps and mouth flap off of me to double up on other areas as I didn’t want to cover my eyes or stop myself from breathing (understandably!).

This mask has to be left on for twelve minutes, which was quite a nice time for a mask, as it allowed me to get something done whilst not lasting too long. The mask smelt really lovely, with a very nice rose scent, and I actually was really impressed with the experience of the mask. Once I removed the mask however I wasn’t overly impressed with the effects, it didn’t leave my face feeling incredibly moisturised or hydrated and after a couple of minutes my skin actually felt quite tight.

Would I re-use this mask?

I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this mask again as I don’t think it delivered on what it claimed to do. The Disney packaging and lovely scent would make it a nice gift for someone, but I wouldn’t really reach for it for a quick pick me up for my skin.
