When I first planned this post I was hoping to be able to share my own table decor with you guys but unfortunately my table isn’t currently decorated for Christmas yet, so I’ll add photos to this post in a couple of days; sorry for that! I hope that you enjoy the inspiration for table decor that I sourced from Pinterest though.
Christmas decor is one of the most exciting parts of the holiday for many people, as is Christmas dinner (of course). The place where those two things collide is at the Christmas table, making it one of the most important places to decorate. In my house we go for a red, white and gold theme at our dinner table to match the red and gold decor of our tree and lounge. Our Christmas table decor has been pretty similar for as long as I can remember, and it’s not exactly Pinterest worthy by any means, but I would still love to share it with you. At the end of the day, not everything has to be blog worthy or Instagrammable to be special, and that is definitely the case with our table decor.
We have a red table cloth covering our entire table with a decorative table runner, covered in adorable reindeers, running down the centre of the table. Our place mats match the table runner with the gorgeously cute reindeer pattern; these are all cloth, which make them incredibly easy to clean and re-use year after year.
Of course, I know that a lot of you will be after a more aesthetically pleasing table so I’ve created a mini mood board with lots of beautiful Christmas table decor ideas. These are all pictures I’ve acquired from Pinterest and I’ve given credit for all of them that I can find credit for, but of course these photos belong to the photographers and bloggers who took them in the first place!
