Velvet is such a rich, wintery fabric and this red velvet bra and thong set makes a perfect Christmas set. The bra is a padded, plunge style bra, which will boost up your boobs and show off your cleavage. The back of this bra is adorned with soft, semi sheer lace and the combination of velvet and lace creates a very luxurious and festive feel. This bra is only £22, which is incredibly cheap in comparison to places like Victoria’s Secret and Boux Avenue, which have similar pieces at much, much higher prices. The matching velvet and lace thong also combines the two fabrics to create a very luxurious feel; the use of lace on the entirety of the central front of the knickers, and the strategic placing of the gaps in fabric means that this thong is incredibly sexy. It keeps you covered but uses sheer fabric and textured velvet to add to the ‘take me off’ appeal and the luscious feel of the fabric is bound to make you feel sexier.
The second bra and knicker pair that I picked out from H&M is an even more decorative and intricate pair. Made almost entirely of lace this push up bralette is both comfortable and sexy, which is always the best type of bra. I love the delicate bow details on the top of the straps; it is little details like this that instantly add to the appeal of a bra and make them look so much more expensive than they are. The miniature plunge detail and straps which rest across the top of your boobs add to the sexiness and accentuate your breasts, which is incredibly effective if you’re using this set to impress someone else. However, as this bra is designed to be incredibly comfortable this would also make a great set to wear throughout the festive period under normal clothes and festive dresses. I think everyone would agree with me when I say that wearing a matching set of lingerie instantly makes you feel sexier, even if it’s only you who knows that you’re wearing it.
I also thought I’d include a lacy teddy lingerie piece in this post, in case you’re in need of an incredibly sexy piece of lingerie. This piece is made entirely of sheer lace, making it incredibly sexy and revealing, and is perfect for a Christmas night in with a lover or even an extra special treat during a Christmas getaway. I love the ribbon detailing along the chest and neck area, and it’s so sexy how these can be untied. Let yourself become the present this Christmas as you let your significant other unwrap you…
Any of these pieces would look absolutely fabulous layered under a red silky robe, and this one from SheIn is an absolute bargain. Silk and satin robes are great addition to your lingerie collection as they allow you to wear pretty lingerie without 1) freezing to death and 2) feeling uncomfortably exposed. If wearing just lingerie stresses you out then adding a satin robe could be the way forward; it’s still so sexy and feminine, but means that you’re a little more covered up. Every time I wear a satin robe I instantly feel so fancy and demure, I can imagine myself swishing around my very own fancy Parisian penthouse apartment the moment I wrap a satin robe around me, so I definitely recommend.
