Outfit Diaries – A Trip To London

Hi my lovelies! Your girl is back (finally) and I’ve got lots and lots of lovely new outfit photos to share with you. I haven’t been able to shoot since the start of January so it feels so good to finally have an Instagram feed again! I thought I’d share what I wore on a fashion and arts trip to London that I went on this weekend, in general these sum up my go-to outfits at the moment as we transition into Spring time.

On the first day I chose an outfit that is chic but also super comfortable to travel in as I had a coach journey early in the morning. I opted for a pink cord mini skirt, which has these gorgeous heart shaped pockets, and paired it with a rather simple white blouse which I bought last Spring time in New Look (alternative here).

I wore my new nude boots, which I featured in my latest haul, which I am in love with. The little bow tie detail at the back of the ankle makes them look so high end and they are the perfect height for walking round in all day. They look so cute and girly with the edge of my frilly sock sticking out and I can just tell that I’m going to be living in these as we transition into Spring.

To keep myself warm in the chilly English weather I wore my classic go-to grey coat, my one is from Primark but I’ve found an alternative that you can buy online here.

I wore this outfit to explore The National Gallery and The National Portrait Gallery, which I ended up getting very much lost in, but at least I got to see so many pretty paintings, not to mention all of the gorgeous photo opportunities.

For the second day of my trip I wore my current favourite, prettiest outfit with its whimsical, romantic vibes. I paired a stunning pink satin midi skirt with a white flared sleeve jumper, which created a girly and simple look. This look was so simple to create but ended up being so effective (and comfy!)

I felt so fancy walking round the beautiful V&A wearing this and I felt incredibly arty snapping away around the Balenciaga exhibition in this attire. If you’re a fashion lover I’d definitely recommend visiting this exhibition on shaping fashion as it was really interesting and there were so many stunning pieces on display.

This photo was taken on a street art walk through Shoreditch which allowed us to explore a multitude of different street artists and types of art that could be seen across walls, the sides of buildings and even on lampposts!

I couldn’t resist snapping a photo outside of this gorgeous Rituals store in Covent Garden, how beautiful is this flower arrangement surrounding the door? On the third day I opted for a monochrome outfit made up of a simple black roll neck, dogstooth skirt, black tights and black Chelsea boots. This is simple, yet classy, Winter outfit perfect for walking round the city in all day.

Remember that you can shop all the pieces I wore through the links!
