Primark is one of my go-to places for effective and affordable face masks, and this Vitamin A mask is a perfect example. For only £2 you’ve got a pamper night, what more could you want?
Usually I am blown away by the quality, and the effect on my skin, of Primark masks, but unfortunately that was not the case with this one. First of all, it was far too dry; it was almost like there was not enough serum in the packaging, so the outer edges of the mask was practically dry. This meant that after only 4 or 5 minutes the mask was beginning to peel off. This led to a very uncomfortable and frustrating application and experience, which detracted from any positives of the mask.
Once I’d removed the mask my skin was left a little red, but once this had faded my skin actually looked really good. I can’t work out if I was a bit too quick to judge this mask, I feel like I may have to either repurchase it and test it again, or just wait and see its effect on my skin over the next few days.
Would I re-use this mask?
I’m not going to lie, this was not the best mask I’d ever tried. I usually love PS face masks, and compared to their typical quality this definitely wasn’t up there. However, I fear I’ve picked up a dodgy one, so I may repurchase and try it out again.
