Blogmas Day Two – Decorating My Uni Room

It just wouldn’t feel like Christmas if I wasn’t surrounded by copious amounts of tinsel and glitter, so of course I had to decorate my uni room. I couldn’t wait to share all of the pieces that I’ve picked up to decorate my room with you, they’re all so adorable and festive (and of course, affordable!).

The first thing I have to mention is my tree; I bought it a couple of years ago from Poundland, but I’m sure they’ll have a similar product this year, and I love how cute and small it is. It looks so festive sat in the corner of my room and I am in love with my bauble selection; I picked up this rose gold set from John Lewis a couple of years ago but I’ve found a very similar alternative here. Then the tree is completed with my adorable little ginger Christmas fairy on top of the tree; I was gifted this by Accessorize a couple of years ago, you can shop their Christmas decorations range here; I have my eye on this adorable little embroidered Christmas door bauble.

This pair have actually been sat in my room since November 1st, they’re just so cute I couldn’t resist! They have been christened Jimmy Bob and Ginger, which I think suits them perfectly. They are from Primark but both actually began life as regular gingerbread man, just like Jimmy Bob, but I decided to DIY Ginger into a little gingerbread woman (and now they’re a little gingerbread couple!!). Can you tell how adorable I find them?!

The final bit of festive cheer in my room is my Christmas countdown cushion, which injects a little bit of excitement into my routine each morning. This Disney pillow comes with a whole set of numbered cards that you switch out each morning, and this is such a fun way of counting down to Christmas, all of which is made better with the inclusion of Minnie and Mickey! This was also bought from Primark, but I have heard rumours that they have sold out, so I have also found it on eBay, just in case!
