This Face Mask Friday is a little different to usual, as I am actually talking about a very exciting face mask centred subscription box. If you’re anything like me then you love a good face mask, a fact about me that you can probably tell from my extensive Face Mask Friday series, and you know that nothing feels quite as relaxing as a pamper night with the girls. About a month ago (how time flies!) I went camping with a group of my best friends to the Welsh countryside, which I was definitely in need of. If the semi social detox, rolling green hills and unlimited amounts of fresh air wasn’t relaxing enough we also dedicated one night of the trip to pampering ourselves and, naturally, I was put in charge of face masks.
Ordinarily, buying face masks for a large group of girls could be quite a stressful task. Finding masks that suit everyone’s skin types and would appeal to each individual person could very quickly become rather time consuming and expensive, but Mask Time made it almost effortless. All I had to do was select a few masks out of their varied monthly box and I was sorted!
Sheet masks are my favourite type of masks, because they’re so easy to apply, and then remove and dispose of; which came in particularly handy when we were applying them in the middle of a field! Mask Time’s box has a selection of twelve different sheet masks from an assortment of different Korean beauty brands, all famous for their skin-loving properties, which fit their general theme for the month.
Each of my friends loved the masks they tried out, even if it was quite funny watching everyone trying (and failing) to apply them without a mirror, and I’d definitely recommend sending off for a box if you’ve got a big girls night coming up. However, the boxes aren’t just suitable for nights like that; with 7-10 different masks in each box you’ll be provided with an array of masks to use throughout the month, allowing you to explore new brands and experience a taste of Korean skincare. As someone who loves trying out new masks and brands I hope that this box will introduce me to some new brands that I wouldn’t ordinarily try out, and I can’t wait to share them in upcoming Face Mask Fridays.
