Jumpsuit – ASOS
I bought this jumpsuit back in March as something to wear to chill out in for warmer spring days, but I honestly didn’t expect myself to fall in love with it as much as I did. This jumpsuit, which is such a gorgeous pink coral colour, has become one of the staple pieces in my wardrobe and over the past couple of months I’ve worn it to death. The warm coloured fabric, ruffled sleeves and perfect ankle grazer length makes this my dream jumpsuit; plus it’s as comfortable as wearing pyjamas out of the house!
Shirred fabric, like the top of this jumpsuit, is a great choice for a comfortable outfit as the elasticated fabric stretches to fit your body perfectly, and will expand with you if you bloat (which makes it super comfortable if you get a little swollen after eating). However, the comfort of this jumpsuit doesn’t stop there; not only is there a shirred section across the chest, the lower part of the jumpsuit begins just below the bust meaning that there is no waistline, which could hold you in or cause discomfort. If I know that there is a possibility that I will be bloated during the day this jumpsuit is one of my go-to pieces, as it means I can feel comfortable but look stylish, which for me is the perfect combination.
The pink shade of the jumpsuit is a slight variation from my typical pale blush pink shade, but I love how it works with my wardrobe and it also looks great when I’ve been using gradual tanner, meaning it would look fabulous worn on holiday. I’ve styled it up here with wooden earrings, one of my current favourite summer accessories, but more often than not I’ve been styling it up with a navy cardigan and wedges; like here. The darker colour of the navy contrasts the warm pink and it’s such a classic combination for a stylish look.
ASOS Design have become one of my favourite brands this summer, as I’ve found that they create such great fitting, quality pieces for an affordable price. I’ve also picked up a few summer dresses from them, that will crop up in my Daily Details soon no doubt, and I’d definitely recommend them for high quality summer pieces. There are so many gorgeous casual jumpsuits on ASOS at the moment, including this piece in lots of different colours, I’m very tempted by it in the sage and sandstone colourways, and there’s a strong possibility that they’ll end up in my wardrobe by the end of the season.
