Summer is officially wedding season, which only means one thing: a new wedding guest dress is a must. Weddings are the perfect excuse to dress very delicate and decadent, and I have a few go-to brands for girly and elegant wedding guest dresses for a budget-friendly price, and I thought I’d let you know about one of my favourites in today’s post. All of their gorgeous dresses are so intricate and beautiful that they honestly look like they’re worth hundreds of pounds, but the majority of them are under £100, and a lot of them are available through ASOS for quick and easy delivery and returns. These pieces are a little more expensive than my usual bargain finds, but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to treat yourself, especially if it’s a special occasion.
One of my favourite occasion wear brands is True Decadence, which is where I got the gorgeous dress photographed, that I actually wore for my 18th birthday (almost two years ago!). Ever since then it’s become one of my favourite brands for pieces that I just know will make me feel like a princess; and they’re the perfect elegant pieces for a summer wedding.
Ruffles, embroidery and lace make any occasion-wear piece that little bit better, and the feeling you get when slipping on such a decadent dress is like no other. I love the range of pastel shades that these dresses come in, because as much as I love wearing cream and white it’s probably best not to wear those colours to a wedding (that may result in a little bit of an argument!), but the muted, soft tones, make sticking to my go-to colour palette so easy, and I immediately feel confident when putting them on. Plus, these shades are so easy to pair with nude accessories, so you can save some money and pair them with pieces you already have in your wardrobe!
