Dress – Topshop // Espadrilles – Silk Fred // Headband – Primark // Earrings – Forever 21
Safari print has overtaken my wardrobe this season and I am completely loving anything with animals or jungle scenes on; they’re just so fun and summery! I’m still loving this gorgeous jungle print blouse, that I’ve been loving styling up with my ruffle hem pink trousers (which you can see in a very old post here!) or the nude shorts pictured in that post. I love the mixture of colours and patterns in these safari print pieces, so I wanted to pick up some more safari pieces to play around with. This yellow printed dress is the latest piece to be added to my collection, and I’ve already fallen in love with it.
Yellow seems to be my colour this spring and summer, especially pastel lemon yellow, and although it’s not in my typical neutral colour palette I feel like it fits my style perfectly. This dress combines my two current style crushes, safari print and yellow, in a classic dress style and I can see myself wearing this dress all summer long.
It’s the extra little design details that make me really like this dress, like the bamboo belt buckle and delicate wooden buttons, and I love how perfectly it pairs with my wooden and straw accessories. Accessories made out of natural materials, such as wicker and straw, are perfect for summer as they look so raw and laid-back, and I love how they pair with the muted yellow.
