If you’re anything like me then your bag is probably full of all sorts of random stuff, if someone is in need of something I’ll probably be able to find it in my bag. Despite having quite a few random things in there, there are a few staples that I wouldn’t be able to live without.
Perfume is something that I carry with me wherever I go, so I personally think that travel size perfume is literally the best thing since sliced bread. I have a vast collection of mini perfumes but my favourites have to be from AVON, and if you’re lucky you can get them on sale for as little as £3! Even when they’re full price they’re only £6 so buying a few of them, so that you can switch up your scent, is never going to break the bank. Many of your favourite scents will probably offer a travel size mini alternative (Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf, J’Adore by Dior and Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel) and it can be a more affordable way to buy premium or designer perfume.
Of course I need to top up my makeup throughout the day, especially if I’m out of the house from early in the morning until late at night and the three beauty pieces that I rely on are powder, lip balm and lipstick. I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, with a W7 oval brush to keep my skin looking fresh and minimise oiliness and shine. To keep my lips hydrated my go-to lip balm is Nivea Soft Rosé, which if you haven’t tried yet I can’t recommend enough. It restores the natural rosiness of your lips whilst keeping them hydrated, and it works great under lipstick. My current favourite lipstick is the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche lipstick.
A modern day necessity is definitely a portable charger but as I’m not one to skip on style for practicality my portable charger is in the shape of a lipstick! I got this cute charger from AVON for Christmas (you can get your own here) so now I can look chic, even when I’m charging my phone (which of course is always in my bag!).
