Spring may have only just begun, but I’ve already decided on one of my big colour crushes of the season: lemon yellow. For the past couple of years, as I’ve been exploring and defining my style, I have stuck mainly to pinks and beige, especially during Spring, but I’m planning to explore more pastels this year. I feel like I am finally truly discovering what my personal style is, and that is a very classic and feminine style, similar to that of a southern belle; which means a lot of gorgeous dresses, endless amounts of pastel shades and very feminine pieces. This area of fashion incorporates my very prim and proper way of dressing, whilst also allowing me to wear an array of different colours and shades, which sounds like the perfect combination.
So far I’ve picked up a lemon yellow cardigan, it was only £5.50 from Primark (see me styling it up here) and some yellow statement floral earrings (shop them here and some other gorgeous yellow earrings here and some lemon print ones here). However, I’m also working on making my own lemon yellow shirred top, which should be finished ready for my trip to Rome later this week, so stick around to see photos of that!
