I often struggle to find my perfect lipstick shade, so when I find a good one I stick to it like glue, and wear it until it’s empty. I can definitely say that that’s going to be the case for this gorgeous rosy Smashbox shade, you can shop the rest of the shades here, which I’ve been wearing on my lips every day for the past few weeks. I’m not usually a fan of matte lipstick, I find them to be too tough on my dry lips, but this formula has got me smitten.
Without being too drying on my lips this lipstick creates a gorgeous matte finish, that pairs so well with warm toned eye looks and pigmented blushes. I’ve been loving pairing it with the classic and beautiful Benetint, which I layer on top of my favourite dewy foundation, The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation. For the eyes I love Sleek’s Goodnight Sweetheart palette with its pretty pink shades and pigmented glitters. You can see my current favourite makeup look here.
If I find myself longing for a shinier, more creamy looking finish, which I would typically go for, I find myself layering this AVON lipstick in the shade Frozen Rose on top. Another go-to lipstick of mine, Frozen Rose is a pink tinted sheer colour with a hint of shimmer that I wear quite often on a day to day basis with a natural, glowy look.
