Straw bags are the newest addition to my spring wardrobe, and the two that I picked up have already become some of my most worn bags over the past couple of weeks. Their neutral colour and classic style match any outfit, whether it’s with jeans and top like I’m wearing here, or my go-to midi dress and heels, they never fail to look chic. I’m trying hard to refrain from adding about twenty more to my collection, but it’s so hard when there’s so many gorgeous designs!
On an everyday basis I love carrying a small, yet functional, cross-body bag and this adorable straw one from Primark is perfect. It’s big enough to fit my phone, lipstick and any other little necessities I’ll need throughout the day, but it’s also super easy to just throw on and wear all day.
This second bag, an absolute steal from eBay for only £9.95, is a slightly bigger straw bag, which is handy if I need to take my camera out with me to an event or photo-shoot. I love the added security of the drawstring feature, which keeps all of your belongings safe, but also looks incredibly cute. I honestly can’t believe that this bag was so affordable, it’s so well made and the light coloured wicker would look fabulous with a silk or satin scarf tied around one of the handles.
