For me, and lots of other beauty lovers, Revolution’s skincare range is one of the most exciting launches of 2018 and ever since their debut I’ve been wanting to give them a go and share my thoughts on here.
The first one that caught my eye was the Blemish & Pore Refining Serum, made up of 10% niacinamide and 1% zinc. I’ve been struggling with bad skin along my chin and jawline and I’m on the lookout for anything that will help me with that. I’ve been investigating serums and acid solutions for a while now, I’m still planning to pick up some of The Ordinary products, but when I heard that Revolution were bringing out their own range I couldn’t resist.
The Blemishing & Pore Refining Serum can be applied both morning and night, and works just as well under makeup to minimise pores and fight spots. I usually apply it and leave it to work overnight, and from the very first time I used this I could see a visible difference in my skin. It was a lot clearer and smoother almost immediately and I can’t wait to see the long term effects of this serum!
The second serum I picked up was the Quinoa Night Peel, which gently removes dead skin cells and leads to smoother, brighter skin overnight. This serum is designed to only be applied in the evening and gets to work whilst you sleep. The morning after my first application of this serum my skin felt so much brighter and I can’t wait to see my skin after a few days of using this. Removing dead skin cells is an integral part of achieving clear, bright skin and I’m definitely going to integrate this serum into my daily skincare routine.
Both of these serums feel heavenly on the skin and neither of them irritated my sensitive skin, which was a definite plus. As well as being kind to sensitive skin these serums, and the entire range, are vegan, cruelty free and free from any perfumes. There is a slight scent to the products, it reminds me of lemon tip-tops (does anyone else love them as much as me?), but it isn’t overpowering and they don’t smell chemical like I feared they would.
Due to the acidic nature of these products I’d recommend checking the ingredients before purchasing and always do a patch test before applying to your whole face. Revolution warn you to stay out of intense sunlight for at least a week after applying their serums as it can cause skin damage, so be sure to add sufficient sun cream.

I’ve fallen off the skincare wagon a little over Christmas (and it’s beginning to show) so I need to get back into it too! xx
Hello ,
I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks really nice!
I’m also interested in this topic + have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.
I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive. Was thinking about starting using analytics. Do you recommend it?
Can you recommend something what works best for you?
Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about Rockwall Investments and the way how normal people can make money with this company.)
I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂
Hope to hear from you soon.
P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?
Regards
Jan Zac
