February brings a sense of love in the air; every shop is full of hearts, ribbons and gifts in hues of pink and red, and it’s almost as if I can hear Frank Sinatra playing as I walk down the street. The romance of Valentine’s Day seems to bring a positive light to the dark days of the end of winter, and even as a singleton, I lean into it every year.
Romanticising your life has become quite a common concept nowadays, and rightfully so. As someone who has struggled with their mental health in the past I can attribute a large part of me getting better and seeing the positivity in the world, to finding joy in the mundane; which is essentially what romanticising your life truly means.

Go out and live your most romantic life, love yourself, and spread love wherever you go!
Happy Valentine’s Day x
