England has been a winter wonderland on and off for the past few weeks, so I thought I’d share what I’ve been wearing in the snow, to keep cosy in the cold, whilst still looking cute. I didn’t have much of my wardrobe home from uni with me when snow hit Birmingham, so I didn’t have much to work with, but I actually ended up loving this ensemble.
My sister very kindly let me borrow this beautiful blue coat, and it’s really got me wondering why I don’t have more blue in my wardrobe. The colour really works with my complexion and I definitely think you’ll see me wearing more of it in the coming months. As for the bottom half, denim was an easy choice, and I’ve always been more of a denim skirts than jeans kind of girl. I’ve had this H&M one in my wardrobe for years but I’ve linked a newer alternative here for you to shop; it’s so comfortable, easy to move in and it’s way out of the way of getting wet from the snow (because there’s truly nothing worse than soggy jeans sticking to your ankles!).
An all white scarf and glove combo has been my go-to choice for the last couple of years, as it truly pairs seamlessly with everything in my wardrobe, and I’ve linked some very similar alternatives here and here. They’re woolen so they kept me toasty and warm, plus the fingerless feature of the gloves makes it so easy to quickly reach into my pocket and use my phone or snap a quick photo of the gorgeous snow covered landscape.
