Benetint has been the only blusher I’ve used for over a year now, and it’s become one of my all time favourite products. It’s got such a gorgeous rosy hue, which pairs so well with my natural colouring, and matches my favourite everyday lipstick perfectly. I’ve actually just found that my favourite lipstick shade, Stylist from Smashbox, has been discontinued, so I’m on the hunt for something else to match my go-to look.
Although it may look tricky, the application of liquid blush is so easy, I honestly can’t imagine going back to powder blusher now. There’s something just so natural looking about the way the pigment adds a pop of colour on your cheeks, instead of the chalkiness of a powder. I apply it using my Bare Minerals foundation brush, as the bristles stipple it out so nicely across the cheeks, and blends it in with the foundation underneath. The formula is so nice, you could probably even tap it on to your cheeks with your fingers, and then add a little to your lips for a cohesive, natural look.
I’m definitely going to try out some other liquid blushes, potentially some of the other shades from the Benefit range, and I’ll let you know what I think over on my Instagram. If you have any other blusher suggestions please do let me know!
