What I’ve Got Planned For July

We’ve moved into the second part of the year, which is quite scary, but it also means that we’re now officially into summer. Bright summer days are definitely here (in fact it’s been almost too summery the past few days – I’ve been melting!), and I’m so glad to see the sunshine. I’m excited to get into July, do some travelling and spend time enjoying my freedom and the good weather.

What fashion pieces am I searching for?

WHITE CROPPED JEANS

Though not particularly the most common summer item, I have been trying to find some cropped wide leg white jeans for quite a while and I think they’ll be a great addition to my wardrobe. They’re perfect for cooler summer days, and also look so lovely paired with stripes for a riviera inspired look.

COLOURFUL ESPADRILLES

After buying my orange espadrilles I have seen how easy it is to fit colourful espadrilles into my wardrobe and I have been lusting over a whole rainbow array of shoes. Coordinating my shoes with my cardigan has become one of my favourite things to do, so colourful espadrilles are a great way to do this throughout summer.

What beauty products am I hoping to try?

ARK SKINCARE

ARK Skincare have recently gifted me some products and I am intrigued to try them out. I’ve already tested them a couple of times, and I love how they make my skin feel, but I’m so excited to see the impact they have on my skin. If I do like them there’ll be a post coming your way!

What am I up to?

I’m getting away a few times this month and I’m so excited to be spending quality time with loved ones in new and exciting places. It’s also my sister’s birthday so there’ll be lots of celebration too!

A FEW DAYS AWAY CAMPING

I am going away for a few days at the start of July to Monmouth in Wales with my friends where we’ll be camping, having a little social detox and getting back to nature. A week away is just what I need and I’m so excited to spend some time with my friends in a place of natural beauty.

A TRIP TO LONDON

I am accompanying my sister to London for a few days later in the month, as she is doing some work experience in Kensington and asked me to go and stay with her. I definitely wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to spend a few days meandering around my favourite British city and I can’t wait to go shopping, visit exhibitions and hit up some Instagrammable locations.

What did I accomplish last month?

Fruit patterned pieces were on my wishlist, and although I didn’t manage to pick anything up just yet, I am still definitely crushing on prints and I’m on the hunt for a lemon print dress for summer. I’ve also had my heart captured by some fruit patterned Castaner wedges, but I don’t think my budget will stretch quite that far!

I’ve been looking all over for a pair of white sandals but I still haven’t found my perfect pair! I am determined to find a pair before the summer is over, mark my words.
