My Favourite Vintage Inspired Heels

Classic, feminine heels are some of my favourite heels in my collection and so I just had to dedicate a whole post to them. So many people nowadays go for very modern, sleek designs when it comes to heels but I much prefer a vintage inspired shoe any day; plus they’re usually a little lower, which is never a bad thing!

I have never seen shoes like these on the high street, so when I was offered to be gifted a pair of shoes from Lace & Favour I was immediately drawn to these beauties. The gorgeous light grey colour pairs perfectly with both neutral and monochrome outfits, and the addition of gold detailing adds a glamorous touch to the heels. These immediately made me think of 1920s dancing shoes and I am transformed into a flapper girl the moment I slip them on.

I found these gorgeous slingback kitten heels in a New Look outlet for only £5, which is honestly an unbelievably good price, and I’m in love with how classic and classy they are. The bow detail is such a lovely, feminine addition to the heels and I love how extravagant and over-sized it is. These almost look like wedding shoes, with their beautiful off-white shade, and they’d style up so nicely with a neutral coloured outfit or even a darker navy colour.

I have quite a few pairs of pink heels, which probably comes as no surprise, but these are my favourite of the lot. The low block heel means that they are incredibly comfortable, meaning that I can walk round in them all day without being left with cuts and blisters, which is such a blessing. The soft ruffle detail looks beautiful paired with midi skirts, as they also fall in gentle ruffles along the hemline and the pink colour matches so many pieces in my wardrobe.

My mom bought these gorgeous heels for me and my sister just before Christmas, again from the fabulous New Look outlet I mentioned earlier in the post, and they’re such a beautiful pair of shoes. I have been really into the colour red recently, there’s just something so rich and romantic about it, and I feel like it really suits me, especially when I’m wearing a bold red lipstick. The bow detail around the ankle is gorgeous and the low block heel makes these an incredibly glamorous, yet comfortable, pair of shoes.
