Blogmas Day Seven – The Cosy Guide To A Christmas Sleepover

Christmas is such a cosy, special time, making it perfect for a snuggly sleepover with your best friend, or in my case, my sister Sophie. There’s a few essential things that you need for a successful festive sleepover and the first is a Christmas film; for us the choice was easy, Love Actually is my go-to festive film, as it is just so cute and makes me so happy, and it’s even better when watched under a soft and snuggly blanket with plenty of snacks. Once you’ve picked out your Christmas film the perfect snacks are the next thing to tick off the list. I’ve made a list of some of my favourites to give you some inspiration…

For snacks we decided to indulge ourselves in a lot of sugary treats and we made a batch of s’mores, along with a few mince pies and bits of chocolate. S’mores are some of the best autumnal and wintery snacks, don’t they just make you think of cold winter nights gathered around a campfire? This s’mores pack from Tesco let us bring that wintery campfire vibe into the comfort of our own home, without the need for a raging campfire.

After a good old Christmas singalong we snuggled up around the Christmas tree, with the fairy lights glowing and Christmas music playing to tell each other our Christmas lists. I guess we’ll have to wait until Christmas morning to see if Santa heard our discussion…
