Preparing For Black Friday

Black Friday can be a stressful time; there are sales going on in so many stores and online that it can become so hard to keep a track of what you actually want to buy, and what is actually a good deal. It’s so easy to get drawn in by lowered prices and crazy deals, but if you let yourself get carried away a few good deals can quickly turn into a rather hefty sum leaving your bank account. These top tips should help you save yourself valuable money and time this Black Friday, so if you’re planning on buying anything this Friday just keep reading.

MAKE A LIST OF THINGS YOU HAVE YOUR EYE ON

Whether it’s a particular pair of shoes, a new curling wand or even a designer bag, making a list will help you keep on top of your purchases and hopefully stop you from making lots of impulse buys. This Black Friday I’m on the hunt for a sewing machine, which are much more expensive than you’d expect, and that’s the main thing I’m on the look out for. I will of course be looking for a selection of fashion pieces and I’ll be making an extensive list of what I need in preparation for the prices dropping.

SET YOURSELF A BUDGET

Another tip to keep yourself on the straight and narrow is to set yourself a budget, which will hopefully stop you from going overboard and spending too much money. Deciding what you can realistically spend, before the panic of a sale sets in, will definitely maximise the use of your money and stop you going into shock when you check your bank account on Saturday morning. This may work even better if you categorise your budget into sectors that you will be purchasing deals from; for example spend 30% of your budget on fashion, 30% of it on beauty, 20% on tech and 20% on gifts. This will help stop you from spending 90% of your budget on one group of items, then you have the stress of having to really scrimp and save to get everything else on your wishlist.

GET YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFTS ON BLACK FRIDAY

Christmas will be here before we know it and Black Friday is a great way to save a load of money on your gifts. Plan out what gifts you want to buy for your family and friends this festive season and bookmark the items on your browser in preparation for the sales. The only thing you may not want to purchase for others on Black Friday is clothes, as these may not fit and they’ll want to return it, but return dates may have expired by the time Christmas comes around.

KEEP AN EYE ON MY SHOP PAGE

I will be updating my Shop page to include plenty of Black Friday deals, as they’re happening, so keep an eye on that for live feed of the best deals. I will be adding fashion, beauty, lifestyle and beauty tech pieces to this page so keep your eyes peeled. If you have the same sort of style as me then this will basically become your Black Friday Bible for all things feminine and pink that have dropped down significantly in price.

Keep your eye out for plenty more Black Friday posts on my blog and make sure to check my shop page to see the best deals!
