I used this mask after really thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating my face and it was a very relaxing and hydrating experience. The mask was a good size for my face shape and fitted the grooves of my face well; the holes for the eyes, nose and mouth, were also very accurately placed, which is always helpful.
This mask is supposed to brighten your skin whilst improving the appearance of signs of aging and imperfections on the skin; obviously I can’t say whether it improves any signs of aging as I am only nineteen and don’t currently look very old (thank God!), but it definitely hydrated and plumped up my skin. If you did have any wrinkles, or other skin imperfections related to aging, I would presume that this plumping, hydrating effect would positively help this.
The serum left on my face after using this mask was delightful and actually got soaked up by my skin, which I find is a very rare occurrence. Typically, masks leave too much product on the face after using them and they do not soak into the skin correctly, so you are left with a film of product left on the skin for ages. This serum soaked into my pores within ten minutes and left my skin feeling incredibly refreshed and even provided a nice base for my makeup, which I applied about an hour and a half after using the mask.
Would I re-use this mask?
I would re-use this mask as it was very hydrating and left my skin feeling very moisturised. I also liked how efficient and long lasting the left over serum was.
