Gucci Inspired Loafers For Autumn

The iconic Gucci loafers never seem to go out of style, and it appears that other brands have picked up on that, with dupes popping up all over the high street. I’ve seen shoes following the general style of the classic Gucci loafers in shops like New Look to Primark and it’s evident that this is going to be a big trend.

These classic black loafers are so chic and, as they’re inspired by Gucci, instantly make anything look high end. Whether you’re pairing them with a pair of jeans and a simple top, or with a dress or skirt, like I typically would, they take a casual look to a much classier, high end look; and who doesn’t like looking classy and high end? The neutral black colour means that they go well with numerous colours, especially the dark tones that are coming in for the autumnal months, and I guarantee that they will match almost 90% of the outfits in your wardrobe.

My second pair of Gucci style loafers are these grey plaid ones, which follow the typical Gucci style, with the gold buckle detail, but add a little personality in. The subtle pink colour within the grey ties in with a lot of my outfits and I’ve had compliments on these every time I’ve worn them; mainly because, I presume, they look very high end. Both of my pairs were from Primark but I’ve found some alternatives for these below; including some other Gucci style loafers that are not as typical.

Sometimes when I’m presented with a pair of shoes I find it quite hard to style them up so I thought I’d share some pieces that I personally would combine with these loafers to give you some outfit inspiration.

Also, you can buy the Paul’s Boutique bag photographed, yes you read that right Paul’s Boutique, they’re no longer covered in zebra print and neon colours, here. I picked up this little beauty at London Fashion Week Festival and isn’t it just me in a bag? Pink, white and classic style; they should just change the name of this bag to The Chloe!
