I picked up this face mask as I was just so intrigued by what it was all about! I’ve tried sheet masks before but never one that I’ve had to mix myself and I found the concept quite exciting. These masks are new from Garnier and when I saw it on offer in Boots I just knew I had to pick it up and try it out for my Face Mask Friday series.
The packaging of the mask is very appealing and the instructions are well explained on the back of the packet, however, as some of you may have seen from my Instagram story I got in a bit of a muddle trying to open it. The instructions were easy to follow but I just found it so hard to break the seal between the mask and the serum, which turned this mask into a time consuming activity. I eventually got my dad involved, who, after a couple of attempts, managed to do it. I presume that my packaging must be somewhat faulty as I’m sure that Garnier wouldn’t make it that hard to open up the mask!
This mask only needs to be left on for 15 minutes which absolutely flew by, and even though the mask wasn’t on for long it still managed to make my skin feel fabulous. Once I took the sheet mask off I massaged the excess serum into my face, which felt very pampering and soft on my skin. It definitely delivered with the glowing properties and my skin was visibly brightened after using this mask.
Would I re-use this mask?
Although I wouldn’t immediately reach for this mask, due to the tricky nature of actually opening it, I still enjoyed this mask. There are probably other sheet masks, even other Garnier ones, that I’d recommend more, but this mask did make my skin feel very soft and nourished so if I did feel the need for a brightening, glow mask then I wouldn’t be adverse to repurchasing this mask.
