The transition between Spring and Summer is in full swing and I’m getting into a summery mood by purchasing a number of different lighter, tropical pieces, perfect for bringing on holiday.
A perfect pair of sunglasses
I have such light sensitive eyes that I’m forever looking for that perfect pair of sunglasses. This has become an even more important quest as I’m learning to drive and I want to treat myself to a nice pair of sunglasses to wear when I pass, because you know actually being able to see is quite a crucial part of driving!
A beach cover up
I do have a beach cover up, but it’s pink and leopard print…so, not really my style. I’m on the look out for a classy and mature, preferably white and lacy, beach cover up.
So, what did I manage to find from my May wishlist?
I managed to find a number of different floral dresses, see them here, here and here, but none of them turned out to be midi length. Floral dresses have become my go-to outfits for this month and I can’t wait to add to my collection. I didn’t end up finding a basket bag, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect basket or straw bag to take on my upcoming trips.

Ooh Accessorize does absolutely beautiful glasses, and I would highly recommend them! I bought one at that Birmingham event we were both at and I haven’t stopped wearing them since tehe.

Great post – I have been looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses for YEARS and haven’t been able to find any… I feel like my face shape doesn’t look good in a lot of styles, so I have just never been able to find really cute ones. I hope you luck out better than me! 🙂
