White tops are the perfect addition to your wardrobe for Spring, and with so many styles to choose from it’s impossible not to find one you love. I’ve compiled a list of all the different types of white tops that fit into my classic girly style, to share with you today. Hopefully one of these will become your perfect Spring white top too!
BRODERIE ANGLAISE
Broderie anglaise is one of my favourite styles to wear throughout Spring and Summer, as it looks so delicate and light, and it is the perfect style for a white summery top. The eyelet detail broderie anglaise top I am wearing is from SheIn, and it fits in amazingly to my girly, classic summer style. I typically style it up with a cute little skirt, but broderie anglaise also looks great with denim (see another blog post featuring top styled up with jeans here), and would look stylish paired with denim shorts when on holiday. I especially love the tie back tops, with a cute little bow feature, as well as the long sleeved blouse with broderie anglaise detailing on the sleeves.
BLOUSES
Blouses are one of my favourite ways to make an outfit instantly classy and they can be paired with so many things. I especially love to pair blouses with mini skirts, as well as wide leg trousers, as I think both of those pieces create a classic, vintage style. I particularly love sheer and silk blouses as they not only look girly and classy, they also look very high end. I’m in love with this open back blouse as it is so delicate and wearable.
THE CLASSICS
White is a classic, monochrome colour, making it a perfect colour for those all important basic pieces. No wardrobe is truly complete without a go-to vest top and plain top, which you can pair with a multitude of different pieces, and white is such a great colour to play with. These pieces can be styled in a multitude of ways, with midi skirts to pinafores, and can be worn all throughout Spring and Summer.
