My First Time Trying A Bubble Mask

I’ve been gone for so long, but I’m finally back! Some of you may know that I do Fashion & Textiles at sixth form and for the past month I have been staying at school for hours and hours and honestly I was so exhausted I could hardly speak, let alone formulate enough words to write a blog post. It’s finally over and I’m honestly so glad, it is a giant weight off my shoulders and I can finally get back into blogging. There will be so much more content coming your way from me as we move into the summer time as I am now officially done with school, apart from exams, so I have so much more time for blogging. I can’t wait!

Due to all of the stress I was under, my skin took a toll and I was suffering with quite a lot of breakouts. I was shopping with my friend in Primark, on the hunt for a face mask that I had tried before which worked fabulously, when I came across this mask. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the one I’d used before, but when I saw this adorable packaging I couldn’t stop myself from picking one up; and for 80p who can blame me?

I’d never used a bubble mask before and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I gave it a go. The mask comes in the packet as a cool gel, which is quite sticky to touch, and the gel then reacts with the heat of your face and begins to bubble up.

I left the mask on for the longest recommended amount of time, 20 minutes, and over the course of 20 minutes the mask bubbled and frothed up, then slowly calmed down. By the end of the 20 minutes all of the bubbles had calmed down and it had turned back to a gel on my skin. It was quite possibly the weirdest sensation I’d ever felt when it was bubbling up on my skin, but it was also strangely nice. The scent of the mask, blueberry and papaya, was fruity and fresh and I really felt that it nourished and soothed my skin.

Once I’d washed the mask off my skin was incredibly smooth and it felt very refreshed. This was a cleansing mask and I’d definitely say that it did the trick, my pores felt very clear, and after weeks of neglecting my skincare routine my skin finally felt nourished again.

I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone looking for a deep cleanse! I have combination skin and it worked well with my dry skin and my more oily T-Zone, so I’d recommend it for both dry and oily skin.

Love Chloe x
