Weekends away are a great way to spend Spring and Summer weekends, especially as the weather gets hotter (hopefully anyway!). I recently went on a weekend away with my boyfriend to Llandudno, Wales and with so many gorgeous clothes that I wanted to bring I found it so hard to condense my wardrobe down into a carry on size suitcase. I decided to make a definitive list of what to pack for a weekend away which you can turn to when planning what to bring with you. Bringing a travel on case is essentially like bringing a capsule wardrobe, which I for one find so hard, but hopefully this list will help people like me, who have a tendency to want to bring everything on holiday, downsize their packing list. Also by referring to this you hopefully won’t forget anything!
Packing List
Clothes:
– A neutral pair of trousers/shorts/skirt
– A neutral blouse
– A cardigan (to layer up if it gets cold)
– A pair of nude tights
– A pair of black tights
– Two pairs of socks
– A pair of sandals
– A pair of comfortable walking shoes
– A neutral pair of heels
– A nude/white bodysuit (to put under thin clothing and also to wear alone if it gets hot)
– A swimsuit (you never know if you might get a dip in the sea!)
– A handbag to carry round the essentials
– Pyjamas and fluffy socks
– Sunglasses and sunglasses case)
Beauty & Skincare:
– Travel size shampoo and conditioner
– Travel size shower gel and body butter
– Moisturiser
– Travel size toothpaste and toothpaste
– Lipbalm
– A small face mask (optional of course!)
Hopefully that sums up everything you’ll need for a weekend away. Now all that’s left to do is book a holiday!
