I’m sure a fair few of you have heard of The Ordinary and one of their most well know products, their full coverage foundation. I picked up a bottle whilst in The Ordinary store in Covent Garden to try it out and, to quote this post’s title, see if it’s all it’s cracked up to be. To answer that question; yes, it is. It is definitely what it’s cracked up to be!
I’m in love with how this foundation sits on my skin; I have combination skin but this worked perfectly to combat oiliness and didn’t cling to dry skin. It was smooth on my skin, didn’t emphasise any imperfections (in fact it covered them completely!), it didn’t oxidise and as the day went on it became more glowy and dewy. It honestly felt so high end but it only cost £5.90, yes you read that right, this dream foundation is under £6. That’s the price of a Costa lunch or a Primark top! Can you believe it?
There is a wide range of shades available in this foundation with guides on different ones created for different undertones. My skin has equal yellow and pink undertones so I always find it hard to find foundations which aren’t too pink for my skin. This neutral toned foundation is perfect as it is a blend of the two, so matches my skin practically perfectly. For a complete guide to finding your shade look here.
See it on my face in this video over on my YouTube channel (doesn’t it look so glowy and naturally beautiful):
Get your hands on a bottle of this dream foundation here. You might as well treat yourself as it’s only £5.90!
