Creating A Perfect Rose Gold Look With Ted Baker

I actually received this gorgeous set of Ted Baker eye makeup for my birthday from my friend Sophia (she obviously knows me too well, I mean rose gold makeup? It’s basically a dream come true!) but have only really got round to playing around with it. Does anyone else do that? I’ll receive something super special and gorgeous, like this rose gold box of perfection, and be like ‘I’ll save it for a special occasion’, then just never end up using it. These products are all too beautiful for me to ignore though so I’ve taken the plunge and used them, even though it’s not a special occasion (new year, new me) and I thought I’d share my thoughts with you guys.

This set is based around creating the perfect eye look and it offers many ways to do so. The first eyeshadow is this pretty trio which is basically a collection of my three favourite colours! Ted Baker kicks it off with a gorgeous cream shade which is perfect for creating a base and for using as brow and inner eye highlight for a subtle look. I would use the light mocha shade as a crease colour to create shadows on the eye and define the eye shape. This is a perfect shade for people with fair skin as it makes a natural shadow colour. The last shade is a shimmery cranberry shade, perfect for dusting across the lid to add a hint of pretty sparkle. These three shades combined will make a girly and simple everyday look, or layer them up heavier for a more shimmery, night time look.

The other alternative for eyeshadow is these Ted Baker eyeshadow crayons. These are great if you prefer a creamier, softer look for a quick look that can be applied in literally one swipe. This set includes two gorgeous shades, a dusty pink shade with hints of rose gold and a khaki green with a slight gold undertone (not pictured). These would make great everyday eyeshadows as your eye look could be complete in under thirty seconds – great for getting ready on the go!

For a more glam look you may be looking for a brow highlight, this one is perfect. In true Ted Baker style, this is subtle and pinky toned, making it great for everyday use. This is easy to apply as well as it comes in a chunky pencil, which means it’s good for beginners or if you’re just getting into brow highlight. This will compliment the pink eyeshadow to create a pretty, seamless look.

This mascara has a very fine wand, which means it will be able to reach in between lashes and create a very natural, yet defined, look. Coming in Ted Baker’s classic rose gold packaging you’ll feel ever so glamorous applying this to your lashes each morning!

For extra definition you could add a quick swipe of eyeliner or even a cat eye. When it comes to eyeliner I always go for a felt tip style liquid eyeliner as I find it’s definitely the easiest way to create a flawless cat eye. This one creates a deep black, pigmented line which will stay put all day and will compliment all of the beautiful eyeshadow colours.
