At Christmas time a trip to your local festive market, such as the German Market in Birmingham, is essential. For a night full of sausages, giant lollipops and traditional German ale the markets are the place to go and it’s a great place to get into the festive spirit.
As well as having a good time it’s also a great place to wrap up warm and show off some amazing winter pieces which is exactly what I did. I wore a simple black roll neck top, which is of course a winter staple, and paired it with a Chanel inspired black and white tweed skirt, with button details down the front. On top I wore my go-to classic grey coat with a coordinating pink and grey scarf and grey fluffy headband to keep my ears toasty. On my feet I wore my favourite winter shoes, my black suede Chelsea boots – of course!
Christmas is a great time to go out and explore the community spirit and culture in your town and city as you encounter so, so many people whilst out and about. It’s also just so gorgeous with all the lights and stalls, you should definitely go have a wander.
