You might have noticed that I’ve been a little MIA the past week, in fact this post was supposed to be up last Monday, but unfortunately I’ve been pretty ill and I haven’t been able to post – sorry guys! It’s half term now though and I’m a lot more chilled out so hopefully I’ll be back to posting everyday.
This post is about what I wore to my friend Rí’s 18th birthday party. She held an amazing birthday party in her house (with lots of fabulously aesthetic fairy lights) and I had a wonderful night. Happy birthday Rí!
I wore this black floral crossover top from H&M, which unfortunately I can’t link but I’ve found an alternative here and here (only £13.80), and a blue suede skirt, alternative here (only £16!). Suede skirts are really in this season, as they are most years around this autumnal season, and I decided to get this rather colourful one. It’s very bright for me but after wearing it I decided that I really like it!
I paired this outfit with lace up black heels (reduced from £32 to £15!), which are awfully ‘cool’ for me! They’re not something I really wear anymore but I thought I’d switch it up for this party. Tell me in the comments below if you like this style. I finished off the look with my classic black fur coat, which unfortunately isn’t in the photos, but is my definite go to for occasions throughout the autumn/winter period, and you’ll see it on my blog very soon I’m sure.
