Cami – Primark // Shorts – Mango via ASOS (sold out, similar here) // Espadrilles – Primark // Bag – Primark // Earrings – New Look
I’m not really one to experiment with colour (as you’ve probably noticed!) but as summer is approaching, which is basically an excuse to wear any bright colour you fancy, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and add a little orange to my outfit.
I picked up these gorgeous orange espadrilles in Primark recently, and I am in love with them. Espadrilles have become my new favourite thing, I’m still wearing my cream ones, seen here, to death, and I’m so excited to experiment with a more colourful pair. Although orange is far from my go-to colour I thought they would pair so nicely with denim shorts in the summer, and bring out some of the more colourful tones in my floral summer dresses, so you’ll just have to wait and see how else I style them up over the coming months.
Another new piece in my wardrobe is this gorgeous yellow suede bag, also from Primark. I think that the scarf detail around the handle, and metal hardware detailing, makes it look so much more expensive than what it was, which is exactly what I look for when I’m shopping in affordable shops such as Primark. If something is stylish and unique, just like this bag, it is so much more eye catching and looks so much more expensive.
I wore this outfit when I was very kindly invited to the opening of Noel’s Bar & Restaurant in The Mailbox, Birmingham, a new chic Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of the city. I was captured by the pink and white interiors, it was like an Instagram opportunity at every turn, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re looking for a fancy, yet affordable, meal with views overlooking the canal.
