Typically I start off every month with a wishlist, just like this one from February, where I list all of the fashion items I’m on the look out for that month. This month however, I wanted to trial a new style of post, where I discuss not only what pieces I’m hoping to add to my wardrobe, but also beauty products I’m hoping to try out and things I’m planning to do. It’s scary how fast 2019 is already flying by, I can hardly believe it’s March, but with this gorgeous sunshine we’ve been having I’m all inspired for spring, and I can’t help but hope that this weather sticks around for a while longer.
What fashion pieces am I searching for?
SPRING DRESSES
I’m keeping this on my wishlist for a second month running as I only managed to find one new dress last month, and I’d love to add more dresses to my wardrobe. My spring/summer uniform, as I fondly like to call it, is made up of summer dresses and cardigans, so it’s so important that I fill up my summer wardrobe with a variety. In previous years I’ve been at school and sixth form, where I had a uniform, for the majority of these months, so I only really needed a few dresses to get me by. This year however I’m going to need a lot more outfits to keep me going, so a few new dresses is a necessity.
CARDIGANS
I’ve already got a few cardigans in my wardrobe, they’re my new favourite thing, but I’d love to get a few more colours. I’m really after a nude or brown coloured one to compliment my neutral outfits, as I could style these up with my white denim midi skirt or white wide leg trousers, and a variety of different scarves. Button-up cardigans are my current go-to, as I’ve been wearing them more like sweaters than cardigans, but fluffy cardigans are always great for those chilly spring days.
What beauty products am I hoping to try?
OH K! FACE MASKS
I was so lucky to receive a gorgeous PR box of goodies from Oh K! Face Masks last week, and I’m so excited to try a few of these over the next month. You all know there’s nothing I love more than a good old face mask, I think that’s plain to see from my Face Mask Friday series (read my latest one here) and with so many different styles, fragrances and benefits I’m sure that these are going to be just as fabulous as I’m expecting.
What am I up to?
I haven’t got much planned for March as of yet, but hopefully I’ll fill up the month a little more as we move forward.
MY AUNTIE’S 60TH BIRTHDAY
It’s my wonderful auntie Marian’s 60th birthday party this weekend and I’m so excited to spend time with my family and dance the night away. Also, I’m wearing a gorgeous dress so keep your eyes peeled on my Instagram stories to have a look at that!
BLOGCON LDN
Me and my blogger friends are heading off to London at the end of March to a wonderful day at BlogConLDN. A full day in London dedicated to blogging, networking and spending time with blogging friends sounds like an absolute dream to me.
What did I accomplish last month?
I did in fact order two spring dresses from SheIn, as I’d mentioned I planned to do in my last wishlist, but I actually ended up sending one of them back as it didn’t look quite how I imagined. The other however is a gorgeous dress and I’ll be sharing it with you in the coming weeks.
I picked up some nude trousers from eBay of all places, see them styled up here, and I’m in love! The gorgeous nude belt, which pulls me in and flatters my shape, looks so nice paired with form fitting blouses and cardigans, and I’m so glad that these were such a bargain.
