LUSH and their bath bombs have taken the world by storm over the past few years but for people like me, who aren’t massive fans of baths, I always felt a bit left out of the whole craze. Yes, I do know that LUSH create lots of other products too, but I couldn’t tear myself away from the gorgeous glittery creations that are LUSH bath bombs, not to mention that they smell divine too. I got given this set by a friend and I hadn’t used it for a while as I hadn’t been motivated to use them for their actual purpose, and I actually ended up finding alternative uses for them. I thought I’d share how I’ve been using these bath bombs in non-conventional ways.

Make your room smell delightful

With their strong scents, which can be smelt from a mile off, you’ll back me up on this one if you’ve been about 100 yards distance of a LUSH store. Their fabulous scents make them perfect for eliminating bad odours in a room and making them smell divine. I place the box under my bed in my bedroom, leaving it open and let the smell diffuse into my room. Whenever there’s a bad smell in my room, usually strong smells of food as my bedroom is above the kitchen, they’re replaced by fruity, romantic scents.

Keep your clothes smelling fresh

Placing bath bombs in your wardrobe or drawers lets the scent attach itself to your clothes, meaning that they will retain some of the lovely smell, preventing musty, dirty odours. This is great for retaining a perfume-like scent without using strong fabric conditioners, which can sometimes aggravate sensitive skin.

Create an enticing smelling case

You could keep a bath bomb in your case whilst it’s not in use to keep it smelling lovely all year round, or place one within your packing when you travel. This will keep your clothes smelling nice so you can feel pampered on holiday.
